  • Shelvina is a master’s student at the University of the South Pacific. She hails from the beautiful island of Fiji. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Science at the University of the South Pacific. Her hobbies include surfing the net, watching Kdrama, traveling, reading and listening to music. She describes herself as a hardworking and dedicated person. Shelvina desires to gain knowledge and develop skills in her field of research.

    Her research focuses on virus diagnostics and to support sweet potato clean seed system. The study will explore the effective use of innovative technology to complement the clean seed system and increase sweet potato production in Fiji.
